The timeline. From 1 September 2026, all French businesses subject to VAT must be able to receive electronic invoices via an approved platform. The obligation to issue electronic invoices applies from this date to large enterprises and mid-sized companies, and from 1 September 2027 to SMEs, very small enterprises and micro-enterprises.

Does Storage replace an approved platform? No. The platform transmits your invoices. Storage stores them, organises them and allows you to retrieve them. The two are complementary.

Does my approved platform store my invoices? Not necessarily. Approved platforms are not required to provide archiving services: some offer this, others do not, and the portability of your data is never guaranteed if you change providers. In practice, storage remains your responsibility: 6 years for tax purposes, 10 years for commercial purposes.

This is precisely what Storage does. Your invoices are stored on your Mac, in your folder, regardless of which platform you use today or will use in the future.

How do I send my documents to my accountant? The Accounting feature gathers and sends, in a single step, the documents your accountant needs: invoices, receipts, expense claims and bank statements. You put together the batch from your folder, without having to re-enter any data or search through your files.

The binder contains your files and documents. It is private. You can create several: one for your business and one for your family, for example.

Yes. Create a binder for each: they remain completely separate.

Documents in PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, KEY, PAGES, NUMBERS and EML formats are supported.

Yes, you can use any scanner of your choice. Save the scanned documents to the ‘Storage Folder’ on your desktop.

Yes, OCR is built into Storage. It runs on your Mac: your scanned documents become searchable without any external processing.

Securely on your Mac. Your documents, search index and organisation are not stored on any Infoduo servers. No reliance on the internet: Storage works exactly the same way even without a connection.

At Infoduo, we take the confidentiality of your data very seriously. Storage’s AI processes all data locally, on your Mac. The content of your documents is not sent to our servers or to any third-party AI engine. Analysis and processing take place directly on your device, guaranteeing you total control over your information.

An online backup of your folders is optional and disabled by default. Only you decide whether to enable it. Without it, nothing leaves your Mac. The data is encrypted and hosted in Europe.

Storage Cloud is never enabled automatically, and is not offered during the trial period.

Yes. You can synchronise your folders and documents with the service you already use: Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive and many others. Your data then remains in your space, under your control.

Yes, if you’ve enabled synchronisation: your folders and documents can be accessed from your cloud.

Storage Mobile is a smartphone app that lets you take photos of your tickets, receipts and other documents, and send them automatically to Storage. You can install it from Storage’s Settings. It remains optional.

Yes. Each plan lets you install Storage on 2 Macs, for example your desktop Mac and your laptop. Your folders and documents sync automatically between the two.

Each plan is for 1 user. If several people need to use Storage, purchase one plan per user.

Storage 10 requires at least macOS 14 and is fully compatible with macOS 27 Golden Gate.

The Storage app for Mac, including licence-related features, minor and major updates, access to email support in French, and optional access to Storage Cloud for backing up your folders.

You will still have full access to the software and your data. Only the ability to organise new documents will no longer be available.

One month before your expiry date, you will receive an email inviting you to renew your subscription. No commitment and no automatic renewal.
