The timeline. Since 1 September 2026, all French VAT-registered businesses must be able to receive electronic invoices through an approved platform. The obligation to issue them has applied since that date to large companies and mid-sized businesses, and will apply from 1 September 2027 to SMEs, small businesses and micro-enterprises.

Does Storage replace an approved platform? No. The platform transmits your invoices; Storage stores them, files them and lets you find them again. The two work side by side.

Does my approved platform keep my invoices? Not necessarily. Approved platforms are not required to provide archiving: some offer it, some do not, and data portability is never guaranteed if you change providers. In practice, retention remains your responsibility — six years for tax purposes, ten years under commercial law.

That is exactly what Storage is for. Your invoices are kept on your Mac, in your binder, independently of the platform you use today — and of the one you will use tomorrow.

How do I send documents to my accountant? The Accounting feature gathers and sends everything your accountant expects in a single step: invoices, receipts, expense claims and bank statements. You build the batch straight from your binder, with no re-entry and no hunting through folders.

A binder holds your folders and documents. It is private to you. You can create several: one for your business and one for your family, for example.

On your Mac, safely. Your documents, your search index and your filing structure are never placed on any Infoduo server. No dependency on the internet: without a connection, Storage works exactly the same.

At Infoduo we take the confidentiality of your data very seriously. The Storage AI processes everything locally, on your Mac. The content of your documents is never sent to our servers, nor to any third-party AI engine. Analysis and processing happen directly on your device, giving you full control over your information.

An online backup of your binders — optional and switched off by default. You alone decide whether to turn it on. Without it, nothing leaves your Mac. Data is encrypted and hosted in Europe.

Storage Cloud is never enabled automatically, and is not offered during the trial period.

Yes. You can sync your folders and documents to the service you already use: Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive and many others. Your data then stays in your own space, under your control.

Yes, if you have turned on syncing: your folders and documents can be viewed from your cloud.

Storage Mobile is a smartphone app that lets you photograph receipts, tickets and other documents and send them straight to Storage. You can install it from the Storage settings. It is entirely optional.

Yes. You can automatically sync your folders and documents across every Mac running Storage.

Depending on the plan you choose, Storage can be installed on one or several devices, provided they are used by the same person. If several people need access to Storage, each additional user requires their own licence.

Storage 10 requires macOS 14 or later, and is fully compatible with macOS 27 Golden Gate.

The Storage app for Mac with the features covered by your licence, minor and major updates, email support in French, and optional access to Storage Cloud for backing up your binders.

You keep full access to the software and to all your data. Only the filing of new documents becomes unavailable.

One month before your renewal date, you will receive an email so you can renew. No lock-in, no automatic renewal.
